Appleyard College (Werribee Mansion) is
approximately 1 hours away from the
designer Jo Ford sourced antiques for the
different sets from across Australia from
private collections, antique societies
and even a few garage sales. Jo and her
team worked closely with the National
Trust in Victoria when filming in some of
Melbournes most historic landmarks.

days with between 100-120 crew
members at the site each day.

major street scene filmed over two days
in the regional town of Clunes. Several
tonnes of dirt covered the main street to
create a 1900s street complete with
horse and carriages.

They mastered the challenge by straddling
fans and throwing water over each other.
Picnic Ground Scenes arent at
Hanging Rock, but several kilometres away
by this small, secluded lake surrounded
by lush ferns and tall eucalypts.

the 2.5km looped Eco Trail from the
picnic ground. Sanatorium Lake links to
the 29km Macedon Ranges Walking Trail, so
rambling and hiking options abound.
